I received this today and was a little shocked by the wide white brightness of the band. It looks somewhat opaque blue in the picture, but is actually bright bright white as described. I guess it could be changed if my vanity overcomes me. I love this watch. I've been re-buying it since the 80's. I typically trash watches within a year or so but I can make these last for a good 5 years or more even with hard use.
